About Rustic Pools
A family business, 48 summers in.
Our crew shares the high standards for quality, service and dependability that Micky set in 1978. We treat every customer’s pool as if it were our own, and that’s how Rustic Pools became known as an in-ground vinyl liner specialist all over Northern California.
Since 1978 · a family business
Micky’s dream, Steven’s pools.
Kenneth “Micky” Coughlin started in pool service in 1973. In 1978 he founded Rustic Pools with a simple idea: in-ground vinyl pools that were affordable and easy to keep. The company built them for years, earning a name for craftsmanship, then turned its hands to repairing and remodeling the vinyl pools already in Sacramento’s backyards.
Today Micky’s son, Steven Coughlin, runs the business. He fine-tuned it for the way people live now, and he still oversees every job himself, from the first phone call to the day your pool is full.
