Vinyl liner bead track
The little track that holds it all up.
Every vinyl liner hangs from a track under the coping: the liner’s thick edge, its bead, snaps into it. When the track cracks or lets go, the liner pulls out. We built our own track, and it’s a better fix than the alternatives in most pools.
How it works
A cut-away of your pool’s edge
The track is fastened to the top of the wall, under the coping. The liner is made with a bead along its top edge that locks into the track; the weight of the water pulls the liner snug against the foam-padded walls and floor.
There are many different tracks, and most people never learn the pros and cons of each system until theirs fails. We’re happy to walk you through them.
Trouble signs
Does your track look like this?
A failing track usually shows itself along the edge first.
Liner popping out
A section of the liner’s edge has slipped out from under the coping.
Brittle or cracked track
Older tracks can turn brittle; pieces crack or break away.
Gaps at the coping
You can see a gap or a dark line between the liner and the coping.

Our own track
Built by us, for pools like yours
We have a track nobody else has, because we make it ourselves. It is a better fix than the competition’s, and it works in most pools.
If your liner is still good but the track is failing, call and we’ll tell you honestly what your options are.
