Vinyl feels good
Vinyl is smooth and soft. It won’t rough up your feet or your suit: no more scuffed toes. The inside of a vinyl-lined pool is softer and smoother than plaster, and vinyl doesn’t get the scale or etching plaster is known for.
On gunite walls we add a layer of foam between the gunite and the vinyl. Your hands and feet will feel the difference, and the satin-smooth finish won’t snag a bathing suit.
Fewer chemicals, longer balance
Vinyl is a smooth, non-porous material, so it takes fewer chemicals and the water stays in balance longer. Fewer chemicals mean lower upkeep costs.
Less long-term maintenance
Under normal conditions a vinyl pool never needs to be drained, acid-washed or repainted during the liner’s life.
Colors and patterns for every yard
Vinyl liners come in a wide range of colors and patterns: try all 53 on a pool.
A brand-new surface when it’s time
A vinyl liner lasts about as long as a plaster surface. Instead of re-plastering over an old surface, the old liner comes out and a brand-new one goes in. Downtime is only a day or two, and then the pool is ready for water.
